Having to listen to some terrible ‘On hold’ music.
Colleagues who have dialled the wrong extension number and when you answer they just hang up.
Being kept on hold for what seems like an eternity and then the line goes dead.
Terrible sound quality so you have to keep repeating what you have originally said.
Calling someone only to have them screaming at their kids to be quiet while you are trying to talk.
