Passports and holiday day

Passports and holiday day

I have just read an interesting article in that today, the 7th January is set to become ‘Holiday Day’ - Seemingly its the most popular day of the year for us to book a summer holiday.

Apparently the first full week back at work reminds us Brits of the reality of office life and our immediate plan to escape is to go and book our summer holiday, according to the Identity and Passport Service (IPS) and ABTA.

In the rush to book their holiday and plan their escape. It seems that many would be travellers forget one main contingent. The passport !Its vital to make sure that your passport is up to date. Dont leave it to the last minute. If you need a new passport its best to apply now rather than leave it to chance at the last minute and risk not being able to travel

ABTA chief executive said: “Booking a holiday is a great way of beating the post-Christmas blues which is why we find January to be such a busy time for our travel agents. But before booking, customers should ensure their passport is valid.”

I hope that you find this interesting….My passport is all up to date so for me its time to snuggle down and check out the summer sun holiday brochures
